MATERIALS & HARDWARE


Q: How many sheets of plywood/MDF do I need to buy?
A: The exact number of sheets required varies by project. You can find the specific quantity and dimensions in the "Technical Details" section on the product page and within the project's info file after purchase.

Q: What kind of hardware do I need?
A: All required hardware (threaded rods, nuts, washers, screws, etc.) is listed with specific dimensions and quantities in the "Technical Details" section.

Note: Some projects may require you to cut threaded rods to specific lengths as indicated in the plans.

FILES & MEASUREMENTS


Q: Do I need to choose between MM (Metric) and Inch (Imperial) versions?
A: No, you don't need to choose. Every project download includes files for both Millimeters and Inches. No matter where you are located or what standard materials you use, the necessary plans are included in your package.

Q: What if I don't have a CNC machine?
A: You don't need to own a machine! You can take the provided files (DXF, DWG, SVG, or PDF) to a local CNC cutting service or a local "maker space."

Important: We sell digital design files only. We do not manufacture or ship physical furniture.

Q: Will I receive a physical product in the post?
A: No. Reacdif is a digital-only business. Upon payment confirmation, your files are made available instantly in your account for download — there is no waiting period, no dispatch notification, and no tracking number. There are no shipping costs, delivery lead times, or customs charges on any Reacdif purchase.


LICENSING & COMMERCIAL USE

Q: Can I sell the furniture I make from these plans?
A: It depends on your licence type.

  - Single Purchase Licence (one-time purchase): For personal and hobby use only. You may produce items for yourself or as gifts for family and friends, but you may not sell the physical products commercially.
  - Studio Licence (monthly subscription): Grants full commercial rights. You may manufacture and sell physical products on any channel or platform (including Amazon, Etsy, Wayfair, and all third-party marketplaces) with no unit limits.
  - Pro Partner Licence (monthly subscription): Grants the same full commercial rights as the Studio Licence, with a higher monthly download allowance (5 products per month vs. 2).

If you cancel a commercial subscription, your commercial licence for all products downloaded during the active subscription period remains PERMANENT — you keep the right to sell indefinitely.

Q: Can I share the project files with a friend or colleague?
A: No. The files are licensed to the purchaser only and are strictly non-transferable. Sharing, uploading, reselling, or distributing the digital files — whether for payment or free of charge, through any platform, cloud service, or any other medium — is prohibited and constitutes a serious violation of copyright law. See our Terms of Service (Section 7.3 and Section 13) for full details on enforcement and sanctions.

Q: Can I modify the files?
A: Minor technical adjustments are permitted: converting scale units (e.g., mm to inches), tolerance adjustments of up to ±2 mm for your CNC machine, and adapting dimensions for different material thicknesses. You may also apply any colour, paint, stain, or surface finish to the physical product.

What is not permitted: altering the fundamental form or visual characteristics of the design, combining a Reacdif design with another design to create a derivative work, or using the files or any reproduction of a manufactured product to train AI or machine learning systems.

Q: What happens to my commercial licence if I cancel my subscription?
A: Your commercial licence for all products downloaded during your active subscription is permanent and survives cancellation. Upon cancellation, your account transitions to Single Purchase Licence status for those products. You retain the right to manufacture and sell physical products from already-downloaded designs indefinitely. You will no longer be able to download new products until you re-subscribe.


SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS

Q: What subscription plans are available?
A: Reacdif offers two subscription plans and a single-purchase option:

  - Single Purchase Licence: One-time purchase of a single product. Personal/hobby use only. Re-downloads available while the product is listed on the platform.
  - Studio Licence: Monthly subscription. 2 product downloads per month. Full commercial rights.
  - Pro Partner Licence: Monthly subscription. 5 product downloads per month. Full commercial rights.

Unused monthly downloads do not carry over to the following month.

Q: In what currency are prices displayed?
A: All prices are in United States Dollars (USD). Reacdif is not responsible for currency conversion costs, bank charges, or exchange rate differences applied by your payment provider.

Q: Which payment methods are accepted?
A: Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (Merchant of Record). Accepted methods include major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and other methods as displayed at checkout.

Q: Do subscriptions renew automatically?
A: Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month. Annual subscriptions do not renew automatically — you must explicitly opt in to renewal at the end of the annual period. You will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price changes affecting your subscription.

Q: Can I pause my subscription instead of cancelling?
A: Yes. Monthly subscriptions may be paused once per calendar year, for any duration, with no fee charged during the pause. Annual subscriptions may be paused for up to 3 consecutive months. All permanent commercial rights and access to previously downloaded files are preserved during a pause. Submit your pause request via your account portal or to hello@reacdif.pro.

Q: Will I be charged VAT or sales tax?
A: This depends on your location and customer type.

  - UK customers: UK VAT is applied at the applicable rate, shown at checkout.
  - Business customers outside the UK (VAT-registered): The reverse charge mechanism may apply. Please provide your VAT registration number at checkout.
  - Individual customers outside the UK: Because Paddle acts as Merchant of Record, Paddle is responsible for calculating and collecting applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST in your jurisdiction. This will be reflected in your Paddle-issued invoice.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS


Q: Can I get a refund?
A: It depends on whether you have downloaded any files.

  ✅ If you have not yet downloaded any product, you may request a full refund at any time before your first download — for both single purchases and subscriptions.

  ✅ If you purchased an annual subscription and have not downloaded any product, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the initial payment by contacting hello@reacdif.pro in writing.

  ❌ Once a product has been downloaded, no refund is available. By completing a purchase on the Reacdif platform, you expressly request immediate access to the digital content — delivery begins the moment payment is confirmed, and you thereby waive your statutory right to withdraw from the contract. This waiver is confirmed via a mandatory checkbox at checkout.

  ❌ Monthly subscription fees already charged are non-refundable upon cancellation, regardless of whether downloads were made.

To request a refund, contact hello@reacdif.pro with your order details and reason for the request. We aim to respond within 24–48 business hours (Monday to Friday, GMT/BST, excluding UK public holidays). Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

> Note: Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection law.


PRIVACY & DATA

Q: What personal data does Reacdif collect?
A: We collect account and identity data (name, email, country), transaction data (billing address, purchase history, subscription status), technical and usage data (IP address, browser type, download activity logs), and communications you send to us. Payment instrument details (card numbers, etc.) are handled directly by Paddle and are never stored by Reacdif.

Q: How can I request deletion of my personal data?
A: Contact hello@reacdif.pro with the subject line [DATA PROTECTION ENQUIRY]. We will respond within one calendar month in accordance with UK GDPR. Note that commercial licence rights you have acquired survive account deletion; however, Reacdif cannot guarantee access to your downloaded files after deletion. Please retain your files before submitting a deletion request.

Q: What can Reacdif support help me with?
A: Our support team can assist with account access and login issues, subscription management (upgrades, downgrades, pauses, cancellations), file download access issues, billing and invoicing queries, licence usage questions, refund requests, and technical issues on the platform.

Support does not cover CNC machine setup or calibration, material selection advice, custom design modifications or bespoke commissions, or third-party software troubleshooting (CAD programs, CNC software, etc.).
